Me vs the Matterhorn

I have been working on distributed computing problems realated to CERN experiments for several years. These experiments produce massive amounts of physics data and I'm working on the ways to distribute, catalog and provide access to this data which all over the world. Currently I work for the University of Oslo and the Nordic DataGrid Facility (NDGF) on the ARC middleware, which links together distributed resources in Scandinavia and other countries. Previously I worked on the Distributed Data Management system (DQ2) for the ATLAS physics experiment at CERN. My PhD thesis was in the first Grid project at CERN, the European DataGrid.
